  2. When that soldier speaks of sexual assault by other soldiers, I think he is referring to sodomizing POWs with objects like batons. There was an interview with Americans who fought with Ukrainians, taken captive by the Russians then released in a prisoner swap. They said they were threatened by the interrogator that he would shove the truncheon he had up their rectum. The American said he was terrified because he knew the Russian was entirely capable of doing that.
