  2. France, Britain and especially Sweden have robust defense Industries that produce weapons better suited for Ukraine than weapons from the US. Personally, I would like to see Ukraine start using Gripen jet fighters rather than F-16 fighters. The sooner that Ukraine can wean itself from US weapons the better it will be for everyone, including the US who needs to treat other countries with greater respect. If Ukraine starts to shift over to European sourced weapons then Trump will get a fast call from the US Defense Contractors as well as the Department of Defense. I would love to be a fly on the wall when Pete Hegseth has to tell Trump that Trump screwed the pooch and NATO plans to source more weapons from European Suppliers. Of course Trump will say that the US will withdraw from NATO and that will make the US Defense Industries lose their mind.
