  2. Enviromental activists in league with the Green Party in the German coalition government. The current German Foreign Minister is a member of the Green Party. The Greens have long been against Nordstream, and elimating Nordstream would strengthen their hand as well achieving the objective of removing Nordstream which they have long sought. The Greens need not have had a direct hand in this operation. They could have encouraged other environmental activists. Greenpeace itself has expertise in maritime operations. I should close by saying that I support the Greens objectives, and I welcome the destruction of the Nordstream pipeline. The Russo-Ukrainian War is perfect cover for environmental activists to conduct such an operation.
