Doesn't shelling a market constitute a war crime because a market is a civilian target? Do the Russians have some explanation of how the market is a military target?

@LtKeyser Okay, since I seemed to have missed the explanation for the other case, can you point me to the explanations? I can understand that the missile that hit the shopping mall in Kremenchuk was a defective cruise missile aimed at the railway marshalling yards from the rail bridge over the Dneiper River. However, someone could at least explain that the missile was aimed a valid military target of a railyard, and it hit the mall instead because the missile guidance malfunctioned.

@LtKeyser Strange to prioritize a tactical target like an ammo depot as opposed to a more strategic target like a rail marshalling yard that would cripple transportation of military materiel, especially with Russia having concerns about weapons systems from NATO coming into Ukraine. I am glad that Russia chose the ammo depot instead of the more vital railroad yards.
