I am sure some senior Russian officer thought invading through the Exclusion was a brilliant idea because nobody would expect anyone to it. I bet that officer thought the Red Forest and the Ardennes Forest were just like one another.

@ОгурецМолоко Nobody deserves it more than the Russians. Perhaps an Exclusion Zone across the entire border of Ukraine and Belarus would work well. Some might call it a Demilitarized Zone, but I think Exclusion Zone that excluded both military and civilian would make for a great International Park, and let Nature take over the Belarussian-Ukrainian Exclusion Zone.

@overlord5068 The "Thou shall not kill" comes from the Ten Commandments in the Old Testament which predates Jesus by a number of millenia. I would like to think that the mercy that Jesus preached would support relieving the suffering of people in a condition that will only get worse because we lack anyway of reversing or even arresting the process. Jesus never imagined the kind of suffering that radiation poisoning had and he would never had advocated prolonging the suffering of someone who had radiation poisoning. Jesus may have been the Son of God, but nuclear physics was not part of his teaching. Compassion was part of his teaching. I have braved myself for any injective and insults my statements may occasion.

A glowing tribute to Russian military strategy.

@matthewdievendorf9609 Such as Russia destroying the dam at Nova Kakhovka which would drain the cooling pond for the spent fuel rods at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, for example?

@matthewdievendorf9609 As much as I want Ukraine to win and the Russians pushed out of Ukraine, the prospect of a reactor disaster is bad for everyone. I hope the Russians have more sense than to do this; however, I fear they do not.
