I worry that Trump is voted into office then the Republican party manges to remove Trump for incapacity, J.D.Vance becomes President and Peter Thiel and Elon Musk can run American through a President Vance. Neither Thirl nor Musk were born in the US threrefore they need a US born intermediary such as Vance. This line of speculation might be preposterous, but electing Trump makes it possible. Another reason to vote for Harris against Trump.

@Reddeb2880 Vance does scare me more. He is smarter, knows what he is doing, and is young enough to cause damage for decades.

@getit9066 You bet I do! I had a cat that lived 19 years and then another cat who also lived 19 years. After almost 40 years with a cat, you can bet I want another one. However, I doubt I will live another 19 years because I am 72 years old, and I don't want a cat to feel abandoned.

@jeffhobbs3948 just thinking about is possible. Something like this is entirely possible for the Republicans to attempt. Consider McConnell refusing to put an Obama Supreme nomination up for a vote because it was an election year and he said the people just first decide by the election and then acting counter to that even closer to an election after Justice Ginsburg died.
