  1. I want to see what happens with the Dept of Energy employees that Musk fired and who were members of the team responsible for the design of nuclear weapons. Many years ago when i worked at ORNL, I knew some of those guys and their involvement in weapons design and the identity of the team was kept secret. On paper they just looked like another research team. Apparently DOGE realized they fired these weapon designers only after they were dismissed. Of course the names of the employees are disguised. Therefore, DOGE can't determine exactly the identity of the people. I hope the guys have already gotten jobs elsewhere because they were very competent physicists and engineers. If DOGE does figure who the individuals are and offers them their jobs back, I hope they ask for a big pay and a larger office, so to speak. You can't get computers much larger than the the ones they use to simulate nuclear explosions in order to design weapons with a better yield.
