  1. This may have an interesting positive unintended consequence for Ukraine. Basically it pushed the Ukraine to increasing industrialization. The demographic for farmers is getting older and it would be difficult to replace the population of farmers. The agricultural capacity of the Black Sea Oblasts will be difficult and expensive to recover because it is the most landminded areas in the world. It will take a generation to recover those areas for agricultural production. Ukraine has demonstrated considerable capacity for software development and international companies could economically outsource software development to Ukraine. Also Ukraine has demonstrated excellent weapons production and Western Arms industry might invest and acquire manufacturers in Ukraine. In particular Ukraine has considerable expertise in jet engine design and manufacture. In summary Ukraine may see transition from a agricultural to an industrial economy very soon
