I expect the Russians to use chemical weapons like Sarin gas rather than using nuclear weapons against the Ukrainian Army in Kherson. Russian troops and civilian population could reoccupy Kherson after the Sarin disperses much more easily than if Kherson was made radioactive by a dirty bomb or tactical battlefield nuclear weapon. Also, poison has been Putin's go-to method to dispose political opponents.

@JTC549 phosphorus is a chemical weapons and truly horrendous. Ukrainian soldiers carry pistols to commit suicide if caught in a phosphorus rain. However, phosphorus is localized, and what Russia wants in more widespread lethality which gaseous chemicals provide. Phosphorus is not delivered in gaseous form.

@janzzen9095 I despise the use of chemical weapons. From Russia's perspective tens of years is better than hundreds of years.
