  1. I can verify Georgy's comments. I have a Ukrainian friend who fled Crimea back in 2014 with her then 2 year old son and settled down in Lviv. Most of her family stayed behind in Crimea, and tried to get her return. She left Crimera with her son because she believed his life would be better in Ukraine. She is a native Russian speaker, and she and her son have had to learn Ukrainian. She knew nobody in Lviv, but she met and married a great guy who grew up in Lviv. He served in the Donbas from 2014 to 2020 as a tank driver, and I believe he has PTSD, but she disagrees. The UAF will not draft him, and I believe it is because of his PTSD. From my perspective I would never want to go into combat with someone suffering from PTSD because you never know when he will have a nervous collapse and be unable to fight. My friend is waiting for the liberation of Crimea because she wants to return home, and she wants her home to be part of Ukraine.
