  6.  @martinjp1  Since 1994. In 2019 there were 9.5 million people who were born abroad living in the UK. See, it's not just my imagination however much you try to convince me to the contrary.

  7. I think mostly it is the massive backlog caused by covid lockdowns. Plus a poorly funded NHS that was just about managing before. It's comparable to the supposedly transitory inflation situation.
