Yes, we had the privilege of going to work in Poland to earn one fifth of the salary. It was totally asymetric.

@mtisya I remember a time when there wasn't a fella standing in the entrance of every shop. It's only the past few years. It's daft.

We would be benefiting but there is no quality control. We should be getting the best people in but instead we get unskilled, third-world folk doing stupid jobs like standing in the entrace of tesco express all day and night or delivering individual parcels of food to lazy people. Like living in Vietnam or somewhere were people are paid a pittance to work as servants.

@edaleman2758 The market is addicted to cheap labour that didn't exist in the 70s or 80s. Even when we had massive unemployment.

@Elfdustify I don't disagree. I worked in a couple of (western) European countries. It was great and I want my freedom back. But I can see the other side, it's not an option for a lot of people. The EU would work better if all countries were more equal but it's going to take decades for the east to catch up (Poland is a great country that will probably overtake Britain in the next 20 years).

We have record inward migration and an entire town of 45,000 people worth of illegal immigrants living in hotels plus tens of thousands more undocumented illegals. Well done tories.
