That's very selfish of you.

@Bryan-Hensley All of these assistance tools are already available, and have been for some time. Probably not on cheaper cars, and even on more expensive cars you may have to pay extra if not standard equipment.

@Bryan-Hensley In a unionized environment, the company may install additional safety systems at the behest of the union. Other than that, some branch of the government would have to issue regulations to do that for the industry.

Despite monetary incentives, there is likely to be low interest in getting an EV, even under propitious financing terms.

It shows that many, if not most, get EVs because of their political ideology, and not for pragmatic utility reasons.

Lunaz is aptly named for the lunacy it represents.

A power generation company will only invest in a new power plant if it can be more or less guaranteed that there will be demand for that additional capacity. With EV's, there is no guarantee that any projections of future demand will be realized, as consumers might not switch to EVs no matter what governments mandate. People and businesses still won't be able to afford the cost and inconvenience of EVs, which in any case would result in overall collapse of efficiency and productivity, leading to a permanent return to a smaller economy (initially seen as economic depression).

The increasing scarcity of new ICE vehicles is likely to drive prices right up to the level where it will be cheaper to buy EVs.

Even people in the AI business seem to not understand that today's Artificial Intelligence isn't really intelligence in the human sense. What programs like ChatGPT do is simulate intelligence by finding existing knowledge in a database like the Internet, and formatting a reply with unique characteristics stipulated by the user. No AI in use today does any actual thinking in the human sense, except for systems using neural networks. In theory, neural networks could actually emulate human thought, but to do that, they would have to have the number of connections human brains have, AND go through a life learning process in the real world, sort of like what a child goes through.

@davidvanderklauw That is what the latest self-driving AI does. I was talking about the more general AI (like ChatGPT) that the WEF thinks will replace people, or at least people will be attached to, in Harari's (WEF) vision for the future.

Conceptually, a smart meter can only save you money is by providing the household with less heat or less cooling than had been the case before the smart meter was installed. This means that the only way you would want that is if you had been wasting heating and cooling energy, and whatever comfort existed prior to the smart meter can still be maintained at the same level with the smart meter. It certainly is possible that maybe you kept the settings for heat high or air-conditioning too low while out at work for much of the day. But other than that, it's difficult to envision circumstances where you were at home and kept the temperature too high or too low for your personal comfort.
