  18.  @Jchathe  The Billionaires are winning. There was a brief pause when actual feudalism ended. The freedom of the peasants peaked during the 1950s in America, and 1970s in Europe. Ever since then it has been a constant grind by the rich to subdue the poor (which includes everybody not rich). But then, around the turn of the century, the elites decided to institutionalize their power and put into place legal constraints on the population, with the eventual goal of totally disempowering ordinary citizens of political power. Their primary tool is Climate Change, and for this reason they started financing Climate (alarmist) research already in the late 1990s. Their first "Reveal party" was given to Al Gore, to champion the idea of Global Warming catastrophe. The whole scheme is not centrally organized or coordinated. Only the few billionaires at the top know why they are doing this - total control. The rest have been to classes by the WEF, or they correctly picked up on the intent of world powers, and they will enforce that on local populations.

When we fight against 15-minute cities, we are in fact fighting for our Freedom and our ability to influence the government at any level. DEI can be anyone who the Woke want to force into a job or membership because of whatever race or gender they are, instead of on the basis of qualifications or merit. In China, the government always had unquestioned power, so it was easy. In the rest of the world laws limit what the government can do, so they go about it through misdirection, like Global Warming or the WHO Treaty.

The idea that racism and various other forms of prejudice and discrimination are the most serious problem is easily accepted by a naive population like people under 30, especially university students. Introduce a social theme that the population could buy into, and get Democrats to support it. Then a significant portion of citizens will vote for the Democratic Party that promises to protect and promote Marginalized Vulnerable Minorities.
