Nuland is of average intelligence, questionable morals, track record of having achieved nothing, and an utter lack of charisma. And yet her assertiveness and zealotry has propelled her to levels of power that would not be given to a much smarter and wiser politician.

  6. It would be very difficult to find a more evil man than Dick Cheney. He caused deaths in the millions, and knew full well beforehand what the outcome would be. Bush wasn't fully aware of what his government's policies might actually do in the real world, and probably expected much less carnage and naively hoped for the best.

  9. It is necessarily true that if those in power are moved by money, they will almost always as do entirely what those who pay them (by some means) want. Governments will do the absolute bare minimum for ordinary people, and only what they cant get out of.
