  1. Simple Simon doesn't seem to know that Israel has a publicly stated policy of keeping Israel Jewish. The country manages immigration in such a way that in any foreseeable future Jews remain in the majority of the population. This is the main reason why Israel didn't make the West Bank a part of Israel (there are too many Muslims). Simon will object by saying Israel is only limiting immigration by religion, and not by ethnicity or race. But even this isn't entirely true. Israel doesn't allow unlimited self-proclaimed Jews from Ethiopia to immigrate to Israel, but it does allow every Jew from countries like Russia or Lithuania to do so freely. Simon's complaint that he gets comments pointing to Israel's racist immigration policies to justify their own bias is also not well informed. Those people knowingly make such claims while aware that publicly Israel doesn't racially discriminate. They just find it a useful ploy.

Then there is a list of countries with small populations who invented fewer great things, but relative to their populations it is equal to the larger countries. These would include Greece (BCE), Netherlands, Sweden, Austria, and Switzerland. So the big four are GB, Germany, France, and Italy.

Yes, the servants get paid (the absolute minimum possible), but their life is to a large extent ruled by the Master. Maybe we all should ask for reparations.

The Conservatives pretend to be that, but more and more people now realize that it is fake. Even Nigel Farage doesn't have enough grassroots support, if he were to campaign for the Party he previously represented. I wish I knew the answer to how to create a populist nationalistic Party that could challenge Labour and the Conservatives. From overseas, what seems to stand in the way is that the UK electorate still contains too many Leftists and Remainers. Until they feel the pain wrought by the current government, it will be difficult to change their mind.

She pretended to be a lesbian to get a break when things got a bit too rough. Pirates are not known to be very sensitive. But her tombstone in the Grenadines clearly states "Here lies a great woman, willing to give the best of herself to the men who fought against slavery and an evil British government." The inscription has faded over time, but chroniclers have documented it with their goose feather pens.
