If Europe does what she says, it will continue its downward spiral in everything, not just the economy. I recommend that all the Net-Zero targets be made much more ambitious, at least by 50%. That way Europe will be at stop generating carbon before 2050. It will become a Green agrarian society, kind of like the Amish in America. The only people flying in jets will be the Billionaires, because they aren't taking part in the Green New Deal.

The place is empty. No one came to listen to him.
23
This is not the kind of history the UK ought to be making.
13
Yeah, he would be tired of her and tell her she is a DEI hire.
12
There aren't any North Koreans fighting in Ukraine.
12
@judykinsman3258 It can be. Look at Kaja Kallas. She is completely ignorant. But she is kind of cute.
11
@cheebadigga4092 That was fake.
10
The European Parliament makes no decisions, so all they can do is make grandiose speeches. Decisions are made by the European Commission.
9
Whatever Orbàn said, he is right.
9
It's the last thing the UK should want, rebuilding trust with the EU. May as well rebuild trust with the Devil first.
9
If you call him, it will ring in Putin's pocket, and who is going to answer that call? And would that be called a "pocket call"?
7
He didn't speak about the gravest danger to Europe. Immigration. Immigration from non-European countries will destroy Europe. This topic is too unpleasant to talk about, and it's easier to worry about conflicts far away, about things that never actually become a threat.
6
Ever notice that every speech at the EU is labeled "Powerful"? One more powerful than the other. Their power is overwhelming.
6
Existential threat!? She must have gone to the Don Quixote school of geopolitics.
5
Ukraine never had nuclear weapons. The Soviet Union had nuclear weapons, some of which had been stationed on land that later became Ukraine. Ukraine only exists because it let Russia take back the nuclear weapons. Russia would not have allowed Ukraine to be created unless Ukraine was nuclear-free. There was no way that Russia would allow a nuclear-armed new independent country to be created right on its border.
5
The Baltic states never fought. For anything. What is she talking about with "unyielding fight for freedom."
5
This woman works for the US Democratic Party. She has all their talking points. Or she is working for WEF, which is nearly the same thing.
4
@dral9971 Obviously Sweden has low standards for what qualifies one to be a leading researcher.
4
@svenjohnson2389 And more then that. All North Koreans in Russia are either working, mostly in the Far East, or they are training with the Russian military. It's possible some were training in Kursk. It's unlikely that any Koreans would be involved in direct combat because Russia doesn't want to ship dead soldiers back to North Korea. Ukrainian authorities reported that they carried IDs indicating they were from the Russian Republic of Tuva, which is adjacent to Mongolia. And they don't look Korean, they look more Mongol.
4
@cheebadigga4092 How can South Korea know about North Koreans in Russia? And didn't you read that Ukraine claimed that those two North Koreans were captured in Kursk, Russia? In my first comment I said they weren't fighting in Ukraine.
4
Is that the best Denmark has?
4
If the EU doesn't know the history of the Ukrainian conflict going back to 2008, how can Europe make rational decisions about Ukraine and the war?
3
Some Chinese people. Not all, and not the government.
3
You mean Poland should invade Belarus?
3
Kaja Kallas has one thing going for her. She is smarter than Annalena Baerbock. Some might say that that is a low bar.
3
Most people want to keep believing what they already believe.
3
That's an awful lot of "Yes Men" all gathered in one place.
3
@mike_oe A bot is not a person. It can't go anywhere.
3
@cheebadigga4092 The NIS will promote whatever propaganda Ukraine wants, you know that. But this too will change once the Trump Administration cleans up the US security apparatus, as agencies like the NIS will fall in line with the US perspective.
3
Can anyone explain how decarbonization and immigration from backward countries benefits Europeans?
3
You would have to be monumentally stupid to believe that Russia wants to ever attack Europe beyond Ukraine. But then again, EU leaders are exceptionally stupid.
3
That's just silly. All bonds are breakable.
3
Are you nuts?! This is a totally different world. Kind of what Alice in Wonderland encountered.
2
Not only is everything he says false, but everything he wishes for is not going to happen. Reality doesnt permit it.
2
You would cry too if it happened to you.
2
Unprovoked?! Didn't she listen to Jeffrey Sachs explaining the whole history of the conflict in Ukraine, which started in 2014 or even before that?
2
The Hudson Institute is merely a propaganda arm of the US Democratic Party, which has adopted a Globalist ideology. So the Hudson Institute would naturally support Globalist EU.
2
Europe's first line of defense and security guarantee will disappear if the war in Ukraine continues much longer. There is not enough left of the Ukrainian military.
2
Lying, but with an innocent face.
2
It's a way of saying that she belongs to the Globalist camp. You might call it sarcasm.
2
Actually, she is all of those things.
2
Historic? It's just another totally meaningless and inconsequential Agreement, resulting in no effect whatsoever on anything.
2
Maybe he is a safe narcissist.
2
Lahbib Hadja hadya at Hello.
2
She heard the Jeffrey Sachs speech at the EU, but didn't learn anything about the war in Ukraine. She still believes that the Russian invasion was unprovoked, and that Russia wants to attack Europe west of Ukraine, because that's what the Globalists told her.
2
Kaja Kallas is an EU High Rep. We just don know what she is high on.
2
It could change everything for the worse. That is one of the possibilities.
2
@dcartier1692 It won't matter.
2
She is extremely naive and immature, just like Annalena Baerbock.
2
That's good news?! Stopping cheap energy and replacing it with expensive energy? Russia never once used energy as blackmail or threatened to stop it. EU sanctions against Russia stopped it.
