  2. Who can guarantee that your immunocompromised child/relative will have fewer complications from a Covid vaccine than from Covid itself? The problem is that NO ONE can. My 19 y.o. son contracted it from my husband for the first time less than a month ago. My son has a really bad immune system, advanced arthritis and osteoporosis due to medical mistakes (partially because of vaccinations he got as a child), so we've decided against the experimental Covid vaccine. My 62 y.o. husband, the ONLY person in the family who got vaccinated against Covid (otherwise, in good health), was the sickest of us all, but even he recovered with no meds. My immunocompromised son barely experienced any symptoms at all. Pretty much every cold had been much more of a problem for us, the unvaccinated, than Covid. I worry that the risk of complications from a Covid vaccine is too high for it to be given to anyone because too many people have died shortly after vaccination or became very ill.
