If the EU does not interfere, it will be responsible for all the suffering of the people of Belarus. It must impose strict sanctions against Lukashenko and all of his cabinet including all military personnel that takes part in this terror. Lukashenko is not an elected president and cannot be recognized as such by any members of the EU. This must be voiced clearly and loudly otherwise the terror will continue. Lukashenko MUST be made to recognize the election results and he must leave office.

@rokid bay I am not your friend and Belarus is not Russia.

Unfortunately, the way it looks like now, the people of Belarus are on their own UNLESS we see every single member of the EU NOT recognizing the elections results here soon.

We need to start contacting the EU on this ASAP writing petitions and letters to EU representatives and the head of the EU. I don't think they read comments here.

What you are saying is total BS and I will tell you why. Russians don't support their leader as much as they used to and most likely will not support any military intervention like they did in Crimea when Putin was a popular leader. Plus, the two leaders' relationship is not that great and, most importantly, Putin will NOT want more sanctions imposed against Russia now because of Belarus.
1
@Nlapin He's already lost Belarus. It is just a matter of time.

oh my goodness, NO

They have not done much to help Belarus unfortunately. I think they despise the people of the former Soviet Union so much that they are not willing to do anything to change the situation. Talking is NOTHING. They need to ACT. Shame of the EU for not taking action!

@alijajakubovskaja6474 Only Lukashenko is responsible for hurting and killing his people. If you support Lukashenko, you support rape of men and women in prisons and the cruelty of the government forces against the elderly and women. YOU SUPPORT MURDER. Blood is ON YOUR HANDS.
1
@MrGaz yeah, right! A guy has been in power for over 25 years and there was NO ONE who was as good as him to become president. When I hear that I know it's BS. Anyone with a brain knows that.
1
@MrGaz Do you really believe that a president can have NO worthy opponents for 25 YEARS and you would call it a fair election???? You have got to be kidding me! He put all of his worthy opponents in JAIL. Same sh*t is happening in Russia.
1
@MrGaz I believe that it is UP TO the people of Belarus to CHOOSE the leader for them, and NOT Lukashenko deciding FOR the people. The parties you named in Russia have NOTHING to do with opposition because their leaders pretty much always support Putin. It is called FAKE (pocket) opposition and they are kept this way to show the world that Russia has democracy which it doesn't. The only opposition leader that can win against Putin is in jail now.
1
@MrGaz you are so funny! Real opposition GETS elected from time to time and not only to parliament. Otherwise, it's fake. Zhirinovsky is a clown and plays his role of Putin's rival very well. All real opposition both in Russia and in Belarus is in JAIL. I am done talking to you. Not going to waste my time anymore.
1
@MrGaz yes, go get some candy, you've earned it!
1
@MrGaz I told you why I left this conversation. You didn't listen. As far as Margaret Thatcher is concerned, she was the PM of GB for 11 years. I guess, FOR YOU, 11 = 25. Great math skills, dude! I really can't deal with your arrogance any longer. You have plenty of idio*ts to convince in Putin's and Lukashenko's superpowers. They are all waiting for you but you are not welcome here under my comment.

You've sat at the table with Zelenski when Biden was in office (the Europeans did). What's the outcome of that? Have you been able to stop the war? Heck no, Trump will do what he must without your help and he will stop the war in Ukraine.
