Tim Campbell A superficial study of Michael the Archangel, tainted with pagan ideas about the hierarchy of angels, might imply that an archangel is a created being. A more thorough study of the subject reveals that:
1. The term "angel" means messenger, and does not always refer to created beings, but is sometimes used to refer to divinity.
2. Greek philosophy, as well as Moslem and Roman Catholic tradition teach that there is a class of angels called Archangels. There is no Biblical basis for this teaching. The Bible never refers to a plurality of archangels, but only to "the Archangel."
3. The word Archangel is compounded from two words, archi, a prefix denoting "chief," and aggelo, or "messenger." He is the chief "Messenger," linking heaven to earth.
4. It is the voice of the Archangel that calls the dead from their graves. It is the voice of Christ that awakens the dead. No created being has the power to challenge the power of death.
5. It is only Christ who has the power to wrest the body of Moses from the power of death making him the first known subject of His resurrecting power.
6. Only Christ could cast Satan out of heaven.
7. Michael your Prince in Daniel 10:21 refers to the same Person as Messiah the Prince (Daniel 9:25), The Prince of princes (Daniel 8:25), The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6), The Prince of life (Acts 3:15), the Prince and Saviour (Acts 5:31), and the Prince of the kings of the earth. (Revelation 1:5)

+Tim Campbell First about my bible reading. I read the New Testament pretty much every day, also I studied the Book of Revelation of Jesus Christ some time ago. It is the Old Testament that I need to study more being an Adventist. Now about the Sabbath. Jesus was breaking the Sabbath in the eyes of man, who came up with ordinances and regulations that were not necessary even harmful to people (if you fail to cure them, for example). He taught that you should do good on the Sabbath. He was accused of healing people on the Sabbath. But He responded: "What man is there among you who has a sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will he not take hold of it and lift it out? "How much more valuable then is a man than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath."…Then He asked them, "If one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out?" Did Jesus or His apostles WORK on Sabbath??? No. Did Jesus or His Apostles ever say that the Day of worship (our day of rest) should be Sunday? No, you will not find it in the bible.
But what Jesus DID say about the law is this: "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished." Should I be asking you if there is still heaven and earth? Hopefully not. Those who do not follow God's commandments (as bible teaches) will not have eternal life. 10 commandments is eternal law given to God's people and we are His people as well, unless you think otherwise. Sabbath was given as a remembrance of the day when God Himself rested and He asked us to rest, us - His people, - every believer in Jesus Christ - sons and daughters of Abraham.

+Tim Campbell Catholic church changed the Law of God (modified 10 commandments), replaced the Sabbath with SUNday that was a pagan day of Sun worship and too bad that paganism is so prevalent in most churches today. All man-made so called Christian holidays - Christmas, Easter have roots in pagan religions. We do not know Jesus birthday, nobody knows, yet we have managed to transform this day (even His symbolic birthday) into the most profitable day in sales of the year, where everything is about the fulfillment of our needs which is from devil only. If He wanted us to know His real birthday, He would have revealed it to us and gave us a commandment to celebrate it, but He did not. Easter is pagan festival. With its bunnies, egg hunt, fertility stuff, really nasty stuff I cannot even mention here. People do NOT think what they celebrate, they just want to have TRADITION which, just like in Jesus time, is placed above God's law. Those who teach to replace God's law practice lawlessness which is a sin. Christianity today is essentially pagan with a bit of Christ mixed into it. I read my bible, I just understand it differently than you do. Christ kept the Sabbath holy and bible clearly teaches that we will keep the Sabbath in heaven; all of God's commandments are true yesterday, today and tomorrow. As far as Michael is concerned, you will not find in the bible that he was created. So we understand it differently and different understanding does not make us what you call us. SUNday worshipers can also be regarded as a cult, but I respect peoples' traditions and cannot fight them, only God can. I am on a safe side keeping the Sabbath, I want to do as much as what Jesus and His apostles did and follow God's teachings as closely as I can.

Tim Campbell You sound like a Pharisee to me proclaiming your own righteousness and looking down at sinful people with lots of pride and superiority. Yet, you are missing one very important truth - God's rules IS His Law that You break every single day Knowingly denying that the law is holy just like the bible teaches it, even though Christ Himself never broke the Law of His father. Oh, right, you'd say, Christ was born from a Jewish mother and had to obey the law. Jesus told us that His Father is Our Father also, so we should have same nature with Him yet some of us think of coming to Him boldly looking in His eyes, deciding FOR Him which law is for us and which law is not. We dare to tell Him that our lawlessness can be justified and on one hand we ARE His people, and on the other, no, not really. If Sabbath is for the Jews and if the law is not for you anymore and you are so holly that you are now under grace, then you do not have to obey the rest of the law (or murder and the rest of 9 commandments were NOT given to the Jews?). All 10 commandments were given to the Jews, yet when you believe in the One by Whom everything was created and that includes the Law of God, and you deny one of His commandments yet dare to tell others that they are the ones that will Not be saved. You need to start looking within yourself more and worry about your salvation and stop teaching people how to disobey God's commandments. I do not know if Jesus is the same as Michael. I've told you this a few times already but you just do not want to listen to me. Enough already. Pay attention to your own faults and become an example to others. You are like a judge who breaks the law himself. Jesus loves everyone, even the worst sinners so it will be Him and Him only Who will decide on our eternal life. Even though we are Not saved by obeying the law, we should not intentionally break it. You cannot be under grace and sin. Sin is a transgression of the Law. You are NOT better than me. You and I are equal in the eyes of God. Oh, and by the way, Pharisee is not the one that obeys the Law of God, they are the ones that think their righteousness exceeds the righteousness of others and I clearly see you are doing exactly that.
