It'll be years if not decades before all the bullshit Trump has wrought is undone. That's not even taking into account the fallout of things like the disaster in Puerto Rico, border kidnappings, the tax cuts for the rich, trade wars, war wars. I mean, we're still dealing with the aftereffects of the Bush 2 presidency. Of Reagan's presidency. Of Carter's. Etc. Like it or not, those in power leave a mark on society.

The comparison with his praise for Tucker Carlson is telling of just how dogmatic Dore is in his contempt for anything having to do with the Democratic Party. Obama says Medicare for all; Dore says that's not good enough. Trust fund toad Tucker Carlson says huh maybe wars are like bad and suchlike; Dore rains praise.

Aaron, if you watch the video Sam explains why Obama's coming out for M4A is important. He didn't call it a great victory. He said it was important, and that's because the centrist opposition to M4A has been to hide behind "protecting Obama's legacy." Well, here's Obama saying he's okay with paving over that legacy. Which means either the centrists get in line with progressives and the majority of the country on M4A or they show their hand as corporate stooges, in which case they're ripe for being replaced by a progressive. K?

"Pragmatism isn’t sexy." Somewhere in Ohio in a storage shed tucked beneath a pile of unused confetti there's an HRC campaign slogan brainstorm poster with this written on it.

That interview he did with Oliver Stone should have been a bucket of ice water, shocking him into seeing what he's become, someone so committed to single-mindedly tearing down the Democratic Party that he's put himself on the side of a has-been, bootlicking, power-loving sycophant like Stone. I would've felt bad for Dore having to go through that if it weren't for the fact that he just doubled down on the same old narrative.

Did you catch the interview with Oliver Stone? The ending is actually kind of chilling.
