Neither Joe nor Hunter have claimed they're forgeries. We saw something similar happen in 2016. Emails were released under mysterious circumstances. Hillary and her campaign called it Russian disinformation but never refuted the authenticity of the emails. How the laptop or its contents came to be in Giuliani's possession is another question. There are many inconsistencies and questions about the dubious repair shop story, especially if, as Lev Parnas has alleged, that information was already being offered by Zlochevsky in Ukraine. But the authenticity of the files and the story of how they came to be publicized are different questions. The questionable origin story doesn't make the contents themselves less real. As you already made clear, those contents don't seem to implicate Joe Biden himself, and neither WSJ or NYT investigations of the emails has been able to make anything of it. What the emails do show is Hunter trying to truck by his family name.

  5.  @davidedwards3361  Couple corrections. I'm not sure where the 3000 mile flight comes from. The repair shop is in Delaware, where Joe Biden lives. It's not unreasonable by itself for Hunter to have been in Delaware. But yeah, why would Hunter go to a strip mall repair shop? Isaac is blind, but apparently he can see somewhat at very close distances. Isaac has been inconsistent about the timeline of his story, but he never claimed to have sent information to the Post. That was Giuliani. Moreover, the FBI did get involved and retrieved the hardware, but Isaac has said both that he contacted them and that they contacted him, so, again, the timeline is unclear.
