  1. 7:00 The popular vote doesn't matter for actually electing someone. If Biden won every last vote in California, Washington, Oregon, New York, and any other solid blue state, but lost a few key swing states, he could still lose. I don't know what argument Sam is trying to make. The only thing progressives and leftists in blue states voting for Biden does is potentially give him a false mandate which he can use to browbeat detractors should he win. The SC isn't going to base their ruling for one state's elections on the outcomes in the others. Does Sam think that's what happened in 2000?
