  2. The way you describe things, like why the rich are rich, is pure ideology. However, I do agree that Sam's condescension, and his puzzlement over how anything could be different than it is right now, is annoying and kind of exposes his more moderate tendencies, despite his protests to the contrary. At the same time, the caller needed to have answers to those questions, and after having seen quite a few debates with more prominent libertarians, they never do have those answers. Any problem of considerable social complexity gets waved away by market magic (competition will start kicking in).

  3. Did you just use science fiction as a justification? Literally made up stories (mostly written by people who accept or embrace capitalism and its ideological assumptions about humanity)?
