  3. Not Karl Communism precludes the existence of a government as state. The USSR and China had centralized governments because they weren't communist; by their own admission they were transitional states between capitalism and communism, making bourgeois capital answerable to proletarian authority. In reality, these governments weren't run by "the workers" but by a party vanguard that was in most ways worse than their capitalist counterparts. How an actual communist society would organize itself is anyone's guess, but to be communist it would have to be decentralized, maybe federated along industry lines, and democratic to the degree that decisions affect the participants. If a company wanted to choose to make a better car or phone, they could, so long as doing so wouldn't impinge on anyone else's well-being, like creating too much pollution or something. There wouldn't be a centralized body telling them they couldn't.   I'm not sure what your actual point is. Does capitalism give everyone the best phone available?
