  7.  @TheMattj88  Every medication comes with possible, even severe, side effects. Safety is established relatively, statistically. Myocarditis after vaccination for 16 or older males occurs about 1 in 50,000 times (0.00002%). You're more likely to get myocarditis from covid than from the vaccine. Myocarditis is also treatable. So statistically, myocarditis is a rare side effect, and it's relatively less common in vaccinated versus unvaccinated people. In case you want to retort with something about blood clots, clotting after vaccination with J&J happens about 8 in 1,000,000 times. It, too, is more common after infection.

  11.  @tomdurkins  Natural immunity to covid does not last forever. No study says otherwise. Plenty of people have had covid and gotten reinfected.

  12.  @tomdurkins  You might want to actually read the NPR article and study you're referring people to. It states that only some people mount this "hybrid immunity" to covid. Why hybrid? Oh boy. It's because those people both had a natural infection AND were immunized with an mRNA vaccine. The evidence for your claim actually supports vaccination. Well done. It's not known whether everyone who's been infected then immunized had this stronger response. The sample size was very small. The article also never states that this heightened natural or hybrid immunity lasts forever.
