@TheresaGraf Tell me you've never read a book without telling me. Fascism can be defined lots of ways. It could be described as the reaction of failing capitalism. It could be seen as the conflation of the state and capital. It could be a set of traits, like Eco's, eg a fear of difference, militarism and extreme nationalism, the cult of tradition. It could be, as Robert Paxton argues, the movement set in extreme opposition to, and with the goal of persecuting, the left. It's a complex social phenomena. It's not going to reduce to any one or two sentence definition anymore than real existing democracies or monarchies, etc. Thanks for waiting.

@TheresaGraf You wouldn't be the first idiot with a Master's. You didn't answer what sex ed was being taught. In states where comprehensive sex ed is taught, it's made to be age appropriate, eg first graders learning about personal boundaries or what body parts are called. They're not learning the same stuff a high schooler is.

These people are deluded. Can't say I have anything in common with them. Doesn't matter that they share similar problems. They see those problems and decide the real problem is Jews ("finance"), queer people, people of color, migrants, and they run to fascism. They can't be convinced otherwise. Hence why they support a candidate who himself supported tax cuts for the rich and corporate mergers 7:30. "Capitalism is not the problem. It's been corrupted." Sure pal.
