  1. There've been times where I'd get ready to go to the store—no food in the house—and stop in the hall debating with myself, and turn around and go back inside. Social anxiety can be debilitating. Good for Osaka for standing up for herself. Hopefully it won't negatively impact her career. And thank you for sharing your experience.

  2. There's actually a recent Citations Needed episode called "The Ungrateful Athlete" E136, which covers how media and franchises guilt-trip (mostly black) college athletes into relinquishing their rights. Slightly different topic, but worth a listen.
