@Big1nz Why would he steelman a conspiracy theory that has no supporting evidence? It's not his job to provide or assume the evidence the conspiracy theorists can't provide. He's not saying there's no Democratic establishment; only that there's no reason to jump to the conclusion, without evidence, that the sexual harassment claim and workplace misogyny claims are the work of Pelosi secretly bruiting defamatory innuendo. On the contrary, there are reasons to believe that's not the case.

@CC-vq1yg There's some selective memory going on here. Biden (aka his campaign) made the same kinds of denials and called for an investigation. However disingenuous that may have been, it did happen. Moreover, the person or persons in this thread spreading conspiracy theories about Pelosi (whom, again, I detest) has provided zero evidence that this is her intervention. They also have ignored the numerous complaints by his staff, none of whom could be accused of being establishment Democrats.

@jefflittle8913 Again, based on what evidence? If you have no evidence, it's just a stupid conspiracy theory at best. I'm not asking for anything incredible. You say Pelosi is behind both the sexual harassment allegation and allegations by his staff. I'd like to know how you know that. Not why you assume it, why it's convenient to assume it, or some circumstantial story about Pelosi's motivations for orchestrating several underhanded schemes despite still holding a huge lead. I'm asking how you know. What's the evidence? If you know how these claims are Pelosi's fabrications, I'd like to know, too.

@jedlimen123 Didn't the Republicans say the same thing about Blasey Ford? Didn't Bidenites say the same thing about Tara Reade? And heated campaign? A month ago I wanted Shahid to win, too, but in the primary he had 13% to Pelosi's 74%. It's delusional to call it "heated" at this point.

@bonchidude That's not evidence. And like I said, the people "behind" the "attacks" are a Bernie supporter who retweets Tara Reade and progressive staffers trying to oust Pelosi. I'm asking for what evidence you have to think Pelosi is behind that, and your response is, "yeah, because Pelosi's behind it." That's just begging the question. Again, this is the same deranged, conspiratorial thinking we saw Kavanaugh and Biden supporters marshall. Well, Bernie would benefit from Biden getting MeToo'd; therefore, Bernie is behind it! Etc. Based on nothing. I'm asking for you to give a little bit more than nothing. I think I've asked very reasonably and repeatedly for evidence of what are pretty big claims. So far all I've gotten are reiterations and re-assertions of the claims. Now it's possible that neither the sexual harassment nor the toxic workplace allegations are valid for a variety of reasons having nothing to do with Pelosi, but you're committed to this being all her doing, and I would just like to know what actual evidence you have of that.

@bonchidude So you don't have any evidence? Why continue making the claim then? I'm not even sure why you think she's desperate. She was ahead of Shahid 61 points in the primary. It's an affluent area. I wish she were desperate. I don't see any indication of that. How do you know the allegations are false? Again, I'm not asking for your opinion or surmise. I'm asking for what evidence you have.
