  1. The market does not reduce prices. America is a case in point. While cost per capita in America has more than double since the the 90s, the cost in single-payer Canada has increased only slightly, sitting at half what America pays. Meanwhile, America's quality of care has decreased. As for reducing taxes, look at Kansas, where after years of extreme tax cuts the economy is in such disrepair that even conservatives are calling for increasing taxes. Let's stop living in the neoliberal fantasy land of the 80s.
