How do I know she's not lying, why did she wait so long to report it, what evidence is left after all those years; these are the question a court will ask, the linger you wait the less likely you will ever get justice and yhe less likely a jury or judge will believe you. Report any kind of assault immediately after you get away otherwise you might as well not report it at all.
