  2. I'm horrified that the USA is still bankrolling this country, their governments just going to turn on us the second we stop being useful. It was pretty evident when they tried to sell armaments to Russia during the opening days of the Ukrainian war in secret.

  3. This would work if not for three reasons geopolitics, price gouging, and wars. The owners of the land or people of the area could just charge exorbitant prices and if ever a war broke out the first thing any government would do is sever the enemies connection to the power grid. And a worst case scenario someone could just destroy the solar panels forcing every nation without a swift backup plan into electrical darkness.

  4. there is 1 way to conquer Afghanistan that I can think of, treat it like a castle siege. If the country is like a fort due to the mountains and tunnels then just occupy the farm land, water sources, livestock, and wait them out; make sure to guard border crossings so they can't resupply from neighboring lands.
