If banks can't withstand the bubble crash then maybe they shouldn't have been handing out expensive mortgages that caused the bubble.

3 minutes into this video the pension system really does sound like a pyramid scheme; "old pensioners receive 74% more than their workforce counterparts", this right here should make it obvious that this will result in a snowball effect through out generations eventually peeking at a point where the next generation simply can't afford to pay into the pension plan.

Socialism is meant to pull people in poverty into stability and adequate comfort, capitalism is mean't to enrich those people and offer them a grander quality of life. If used properly both can benefit each other like yin and yang.

What about the tofu dreg projects?

Fun fact, you can practice wearing a monocle with quarter and half dollar coins

I think the main freezing the German economy isn't growing is due to a lack of ambition and a Hardy drive to meet that ambition

Very few government employees that are very inefficient and very expensive, sounds like a recipe for an oligarchy to me

I don't believe tourism is bad for a country nor that it make some poor, I believe that the government's who rely solely on tourism are the ones making their countries poor. Much like a country who solely relies on oil or some other resource and doesn't bother to diversify itself even when it has the capital to do so.

The one flaw I see with a Swedish model is that if there is a global recession or even just a severe hit to the Swedish Market their model will collapse. The state should plan for this by investing in some Agriculture and other Industries associated with living so if this ever happens people can still get by.

These laws do work, it's just your politicians implemented it very poorly. Rent cap laws are supposed to adjust themselves with inflation, or at the very least the politicians are supposed to stay on top of it and rewrite the law every few years to keep up with inflation.

I think we need to replace all our politicians in both the Democratic and Republican parties both are more concerned with their Petty power struggles rather than the well-being of the American citizen, working for the interest of which businesses or uneducated mobs who want a quick solution that will have bad consequences down the road

This entire problem could be solved if the local city governments started investing in low-income housing themselves to help make up for the shortfall in Supply due to price cap regulations. Turning the policy for me winners and losers situation to a win-win scenario for everyone.

All the horror stories I hear out of Africa due to the actions of local Warlords makes me supportive for a second European colonization effort to bring stability in Civilization to a land plagued by poverty and crime

Wasn't Attack on Titan made by a German animation company?

GDP should only state net profit after expenses. All this other stuff skews the numbers in ways that don't really matter. For example if I were to give you a loan, I don't want to know your gross income like other banks do, I want to know your net income after you have pais your bills. In this scenario I would ask for a copy of your most recent bills as well as bank statements for the last 2-3 months so I can accurately gauge how much money you have to spare at the end of any given month.

I don't like saying a country is exempt from major Wars is it good phrase to use because any War even on a small scale if dragged out for long periods of time will be devastating

I don't believe that poll is accurate and I don't believe most people are becoming anticapitalist, we're just sick and tired of greedy businessman and politicians siphoning the wealth of the lower classes off for themselves. You are wrong in saying that it is not the result of a worsening economic environment, it 100% is.

Many military innovations can often be used in the civilian sector

I have worked factory, grocery, and call center jobs. I had to stop working nothing but factory for 22 an hour because my body couldn't handle it after about 7 months, I then went to a call center and worked there for 13 an hour for about 6 months when I got an offer to work at target for 15 an hour, by thus point I have a reliable room mate to share expenses with and haven't experienced burn out for a while now. I don't believe reducing hour while keeping the same salary is viable but I do believe working 3 to 4 days a week in physically intensive jobs for 18 or more an hour while working 1 to 2 days in physically low intensive jobs like stores or call centers for 13.50 to 15 an hour would result in the same desired effect as a 4 day work week. Burn out will reduce and the reduced intensity of the overall workload will result in less people calling in sick, injured, or because their burnt out while maintaining a passable living standard. And with a lover or friend who is also working the same way to share household expenses with the overall cost of living goes down allowing them to spend more money on their days off or to save up more money for a big purchase down the road.

@Bell_plejdo568p the West isn't arming Warlords in Africa and the Middle East, quite the contrary it's the east Russia and China, many Western countries have trade sanctions on terrorist groups and African Warlords making it illegal to trade with them. Arming these people will be to the detriment of the West because they would further disrupt trade routes and humanitarian Aid. There was even a time when America was performing a peacekeeping mission in Africa enforcing peace and stability at gunpoint; you think they want to sell guns to the very people they were trying to keep in line? The man recently traded to Russia The Merchant of death is responsible for the vast majority of weapons making their way into the Middle East and Africa before his arrest, he was a Russian citizen.

@ijustlikevideos21 no western nations look down at Somali's as lesser beings, that's literally the opposite of how the US and other western nations acts. Your thinking of things like it's still the 18th century and none of these nations have changed.

Sounds like they should have installed price caps on rent
1
Price caps can work and there are plenty of examples of it working, but many politicians don't implement it properly. Right now rent price caps in the US are very necessary due to no new housing being built, housing isn't a luxury like coffee, a doll, or a new phone; it's a necessity and people are having their rents hiked to squeeze more money out of them. Housing prices are going up due to scarcity so it's becoming more unaffordable to be a home owner. If price caps were set to say 15% above the cost of operations everyone wins except greedy landlord and housing sellers who just make less money than they would like.
1
Count of the European AI strategy with history, history has shown that powerful individuals who steal and subjective workers to the bare minimum of necessities are typically the ones who succeed because they're willing to do what no one else will. Rome regularly sacked everyone around then and employed slave labor on a wide scale, always taking the technology and strategies of those they encounter. Everyone else around them who didn't sink to their level were Concord by rome.

I belive this is a flawed outlook on public buisnesses, private companies have the same problems. Government companies can be successful so long as there is good leadership and good saleries. The US government has it's fingers in a few industries like forestry and oil production that aren't hindered.
1
Then price caps are needed

All of this is not new

If France is so selfish and once all exports to the EU to come from France then why doesn't the EU just vote to kick them out as a wake-up call to France. It doesn't even have to be permanent; if they learn their lesson and stop blocking all trade deals that don't benefit them, then they can rejoin the EU.
1
@kieranrollinson8750 that's a bad example, responsible price caps are a certain percentage above the cost of production. Like 10% above that 5 dollar cost of production for example.
1
Another example of a few private companies trying to sacrifice the overall economy for their own profitability
1
Economic aid and goodies for trees are only useful when you actually Manitoba and make sure it's being used properly. The US didn't Monica how it's welfare spending in the Middle East during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and that resulted in 99% of of all aid being lost to corruption. Not a single politician in Washington actually gives a damn about what the money is being spent on, just that it looks like we're helping them
1
@Cumulo9 if that's what you believe then quit sitting on the side lines and run for office to make the government benevolent, you have to be the change you wanna see otherwise it will never happen.
