@RealLifeMoney yep all those ads tempting people with all those luxuries they don't need, even as kids were introduced to this with toy and sugary cerial ads; were conditiond from the start to want, want, want, and spend, spend, spend.

But doesn't putting all your money in 1 account help you earn more interest every month or year? I do this and just keep a ledger with every expense and savings amount written down, any time I want to splurge I check my ledger and see if I have enough to do so; if not I don't take any.

@jero007 mine only offers pennies for every 1,000 I save right now until I have 10,000 saved up then intrest increases, but hey a pennie saved is a pennie earned.
