@renanvinicius6036 so you think the US wanting to stop illegal lethal drugs from entering it's country is imperialist? What is the roles were flipped and this was china or Mexico going to war with drug cartels in the US to try and save their people from unregulated drugs, would you be calling them imperialists for trying to protect their people?

So couple it with mental health care reform and harsh prison sentences, either the drug addicts will get their act together or uncle Sam will force them to through prison time and the resources they offer to become a better person once out. Anyone who is too weak and keeps relapsing again and again should be put in a special prison that's like a nursing home for weak willed drug addicts so they can never have access to drugs.

There's a very simple and easy solution to u.s. border patrol agents being corrupted by cartels, once the cartels are labeled terrorist or whatever sentence anyone found to be working with them to death. Cooperation will drop real quick.

That's going to ve difficult since many government agents are cartel loyalists, the capital of Mexico had to replace it's police force with the military because all of them were taking bribes, cartels also actively assassinate anyone who tries to run on an anti cartel political campaign.

I've had 10 years of dealing with addicts one of which is my own mother, I started out like you but after 10 years of bullshit I've found those that get off the drugs for good are the ones that actually care about the people their hurting and have the mental fortitude to say no, it's both a disease and a moral failing. When you get clean and are tempted to smoke more meth, it's your choice to say yes or no. if your so far gone that you can't stop yourself then you need to be put into some drug addict nursing home where you can live and work monitored by the state, any time you leave you're forced to wear an ankle bracelet to track your movements in case you go looking for more drugs. my own mother tried to get me to fake being in pain so she could take me to the hospital and convince the doctors I needed morphine, she then tried to take the needle out of my arm so she could consume the pain killers, I was like 7. I'm trying to protect everyone else from people like her who can't control themselves, whether it's by choice or because the drugs have completely rewired their minds is irrelevant to me.
