  3. I am in favor of lowering pensions but I'm not in favor of raising the retirement age because by the time I'm 67 I won't have the energy to do the things I want to do in retirement and I'll be dying within the next 3 to 13 years

  4. ​ @felipe741  kinda hard when I don't get paid enough to save very much, I might save 500 by the end of the year and maybe get another 900 from tax returns; but that's if I never spent a penny on anything other than necessities, and I work a factory job for 11.50 an hour and despite having 3 group leads in the factory beg me to come work for them for a higher wage some higher power forbid it because the interview I had got canceled. I don't have money to spend on 401k's and IRA's, I would if the job market would pay a proper wage for the rate of inflation; but companies are greedy and dysfunctional.

I was just saying we shouldn't over pay people on government pensions, if you can go on vacation for cheep then fine do it; my main concern was paying people so much in government pensions that they could take expensive vacations frequently. Not everyone takes cheap vacations just like not everyone takes expensive ones, your supposed to be able to retire comfortably on government pensions not in the lap of luxury.
