The US government hasn't been doing a good job of making sure government officials don't buy stock in companies that are considered a conflict of interest. Generals are investing in arms companies and about 20% of government workers are in violation of this. This is why these monopolies exist because of a lack of enforcement by greedy people.

@funveeable because the majority of voters don't know about this issue, also republicans are doing this insider trading as well, the report lists people on all sides of the aisle.
