I am appalled at the fact that the United States has not opened up factories to refine Rare Earth minerals and instead send them over to China where they basically give china a monopoly on these minerals, I'm also appalled at the fact that no government decided to keep even a small amount of their Rare Earth mines open with subsidies as a security concern; that's like shutting down all your oil fields because someone else has better prices and then when that person declares war on you ya just don't have oil to power your tanks and ships.

The United States should convince a third party to buy the minerals from China and sell them to the United States in secret in exchange for a markup in price, or they should start investing in defense systems that don't rely on these Rare Earth minerals like skilled soldiers who can shoot Target guided missiles out of the sky

@ArawnOfAnnwn no I have never done that nor will I ever, I'm just dumbfounded that my country would let one of it's enemies gain basically a monopoly on a vital resource for military hardware. With how aggressive China and Russia has been, you'd think making sure you have a reliable source of resources to defend yourself with would be common sense. you on the other hand are clearly one of those people who go around looking for people to insult or fights to pick on the internet so fuck you.
