Is 100% possible to stop the coup d'etat in Myanmar and keep it out of full chinese control, just Supply the civilians with guns and ammunition to fight back against the dictatorship; their protests will do nothing to stop the military from taking over. If civilians refuse to pay taxes the military will just take it by force and shoot anyone who tries to resist, Myanmar is used to being isolationist so all these trade embargoes against the dictatorship will do nothing. If the international community truly cares about preserving democracy in Myanmar they will have to get involved either directly or through supplying Munitions to civilians.
