  1.  @rejvaik00  the point of japan doing this isn't mainly to throw their army at China, but to throw the U.S. Military at China and act as a launch point for the U.S. Army; and if their lucky the U.S.'s regional allies like Australia too.

  2.  @dafeageh1320  if China was only dealing with Taiwan yeah a blockade would work perfectly but they wouldn't be they'd be dealing with Japan and the US who can use their military to break the blockade and their missile defense systems to help with any incoming missiles
