Taylor Tano that's because prageru has biases while I agree with some of their points others I don't they try to push heavily on the religious aspect this guy sounds like it's trying to say don't go to college when that's the exact opposite of what people need to do we should go to college the only reason we can't is because of how expensive it is even with grants and partial scholarships because the fact is some people don't qualify for grants or partial scholarships or even full ride scholarships my community college for 4 years is going to cost me ten Grand and that's not even counting any equipment I might need to purchase for my classes A co-worker of mine told me that when he went there for photography it was the same way 10 grand but he was also required to buy all this expensive photography equipment and the school didn't help pay for a penny of it

Jonathon Peterson so if that comedian went into a courtroom with some Senators to discuss an important matter do you think he would be able to talk in this way or would he need to be more precise and give examples instead of analogies we get he's a comedian but this is not the place for it as when you're trying to make a point you want to be straightforward with what you're saying and yes I agree there is too much red tape now but the complaining about the millennial generation needs to stop there's a reason we are like this and it's because the previous-generation our parents have failed us do you think we would be like this had we been properly raised no in fact I used to be a lot like the people he describes and it was due to my parents ineptitude to raise children to properly teach them responsibilities and many other things parents should do my mother was a raging alcoholic and drug addict my father never really taught me anything he mostly locked himself away in his room and worked on his cars rather than spend time bonding with his children or teaching them important life lessons and when his marriage fell apart instead of focusing on his children's well-being he focused on finding someone to fill the void that his previous wife left the reason Millennials are like this are because of their terrible parents the previous-generation who raised this current generation and the traumas they inflected on them I am no longer like this after years of working to better myself and it was very difficult but even today I find difficulties maintaining this due to the lifelong gift of PTSD my mother gave me after traumatizing me multiple times one such incident includes my mother trying to pull out my surgical stitches after I had my gallbladder removed which qualifies as physical torture the very woman who's supposed to love and nurture their kids tortured them literally

Tempting Fate no they didn't there are quite a few different religions and codes of honor that have also carried these concepts into the modern era like Hinduism (one of the religions Christianity adopted some of their concepts from), Buddhism, chivalry and so on to claim otherwise is to claim ignorance as it would show that you haven't looked outside your bubble. look I love my country I love my freedom but I belive that both sides are in the wrong and in the right in particular instances I belive abortion should be legal I belive a child needs his father I belive in the right to bear arms I take positions on both sides because I'm politically independent I see coruption and bad politicians on both sides and I see PragerU becoming slowly but increasingly dishonest and biased I belive in freedom of speech and freedom of religion but I don't belive in the misconstrusion of my countries history in any capacity for better or worse

It takes a shity parent to make a shity child and if an entire generation is like this then I would say the previous generation has failed us by raising us poorly my mother was an alcoholic and drug addict and my father while he did supported me financially he did not make the slightest effort to bond with his children or teach them any important life lessons it seemed he was more interested in finding a woman in his life than taking care of his kids the reason millennials don't take responsibility is because they've never had a responsible adult raise them and many of them are dealing with childhood trauma which can last well into adulthood I myself have PTSD because my mother physically tortured Me by trying to pull out my surgical stitches

No America is not the best country in the world it is a good country for the most part and it's certainly better off than most other countries but we have the worst prison system prices for healthcare are way too expensive so if you break a leg expect to pay for it with your other leg quite a bit of our politicians are corrupt has been a lot of Financial crimes and sexual scandals as of late with our politicians as well as just having a few of them incompetent not all there are some good ones on all sides Obama is a good politician and that Vietnam War veteran who died of brain cancer was one of the best Republican candidates we had he was a true hero of our country also taxes could be lower jobs could pay better I don't know about you but it's difficult working a physically intensive job for 8 to 10 hours a day for only $12 an hour there's a single mom I work with she has 3 kids and I still don't know how she's able to take care of them with how little she's paid to get an idea of how much $12 an hour is I am single I pay for no one else but myself I get paid roughly around 21000 to $22,000 a year before taxes after is even less I barely scrape by day today and if my car was a breakdown I wouldn't be able to afford to fix it and I would be screwed I'm trying to look for better work but it's difficult when every job says they want at least a years experience but you have no experience in that field and can't find a job who will take people with no experience some people might say just move where the jobs are I say when I get the money to afford to move I will but some of us don't make enough to be able to save up for a big move and to be honest I can name several countries that are better than America Canada is one of them also Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, the netherlands, and Germany these are all countries that are better than the United States right now Norway is a Universal Health Care success story showing that the combination of capitalism and small amounts of socialism can truly work and even thrive and no socialism is not the same thing as communism because with socialism the state doesn't own everything you don't work for the state socialism is the same thing as your Sunday church commune only on a much grander scale instead of donating to the guy with the Golden Bowl going down the aisle ways you're donating to the government who will then use it to ensure everyone can afford Healthcare but unlike churches you aren't donating to multiple separate churches you're donating to one entity and thus the cash pool becomes much much larger

  25. how the hell are you going to argue that raising the minimum wage is bad (and use fast food as an example when its ment for people 16-18 years of age to get that first job like you said) I work at a car factory as an inspector making 11.50 an hour and can't even afford to support myself im still living with my dad and am now having to get a room mate just to get by so as far as fast food goes keep it 7.25 but other jobs either raise the pay rate or decrease prices because we certainly can't keep things as is without resorting to living with 2-3 other people or how about this fix the god damn economy stop recklessly spending our tax dollars so you can reduce taxs and thus raising the minimum wage wont be so bad or maby stores will reduce prices i mean look at the shitty contract the government signed for the development of that new jet saying that they would pay the company to make it and any flaws in it the government will pay to be fixed... do you see the problem with this they could purposely botch it so they could get paid more instead the government should make the company pay for it so they learn to get it right sooner and lessen loses

I do belive people should have the choice to abort if they want maby someone is raped and impregnated at say 18 and they haven't even been able to get their life started should they have to bear the burden of motherhood so early on when they did not want it and had other aspirations that a baby would get in the way of or perhaps they are not financially or competently ready to raise a child some teen and early adult pregnancies I've seen have led to them getting their children taken away because they just aren't ready to be parents or aren't good parents my own mother used to drive drunk with me in the car as a kid and beat my brother she also refused to help provide for our family when my dads well paying factory job and car flipping hobby were barley bringing enough in at times to get by I rarely saw my father because of this he was so busy he didn't have much time to raise me only now that I'm 21 does he have the time to do so and because of it I am just now getting my life together and started my father missed out on his ambition's to move to California and become a rental tycoon because of me I haven't made the same mistake as my father but at time I feel sympathetic and wish he had just left to presue what he loved instead of bearing all the burden he has bore it is more than he should have had to bare.

You forgot to mention what happens after that semi true story yes there were people fleeing religious persecution otherwise we never would have made the 1st amendment right to freedom of belief and religion it was the number 1 reason we even thought of making that amendment. our colonies grew so large that we started to encroach on their territory and thus conflict ensued yes things were nice at first but then things went south if there was never any violence between us and native americans then why do we have the native American preservation and offer many things like money and scholarships to native americans how come their numbers are not as large as ours or why don't we see as many people with a mixed heritage of European and native Americans. Im no liberal but even I recognize what really happined please don't mix history and bed time stories whats next you gonna say that us enslaving human beings wasn't as accurate as history depicts denying these sins of ours is worse than just owning up to them.

  46. most of this I agree with some more minor details I don't such as not using curse words as long as they are not cussing at someone in anger or to insult im perfectly fine with it there is such a thing as being too strict school isn't the military where everything has to be strict and the school uniform as long as their cloths are not exposing parts of the body I see no problem with letting them wear what they want as long as they are learning and pass their tests cussing and clothing aren't really anything to be concerned about

I come from a broken home Im also atheist but I see your point the only critiques I have is that It's ok to divorce people grow apart and just don't connect like when they were younger this is why 9/10 straight out of highschool marriages end in divorce but so long as you agree to still raise the child together and not let your deferences get in the way the child will be fine and as far as the swinger couples go so long as the kids are being raised with no problems im ok with it although I myself would not be in a swinger relationship

Didn't they just throttle the internet that the local California firefighters use for GPS hindering their efforts to combat their worst wildfire that California has ever seen and I used to be able to use my phone reliably before net neutrality was abolished now I have calls dropping and sometimes my service is completely cut all together I can't text I can't call I can't get on the internet I can't use my phone and that means if I'm ever in danger I can't call for help because I wouldn't have a signal to make that call they would have cut it Prager there's some things you say that I agree with but recently more and more of what you say I don't agree with especially this nothing good has come of the abolition of net neutrality it is all just been bad the only good that has happened is that the companies are more profitable and unrestrained but everyone else suffers as a consequence I paid $60 for my service I was told that I would have 2 gigs of constant internet streaming after my 10 gigs of internet streaming ran out so far my company has not kept their end of the deal I did not get 2 gigs of constant internet streaming sometimes I do but most of the time it's less or non-existent
