  1. We can't feed everyone, we can't shelter everyone, we can't take in everyone, we can't save everyone. We simply don't have the resources to save everyone if these people were to go through the proper means of obtaining citizenship, asylum, or even a work visa then they wouldn't be getting deported I personally would allow them to take refuge in fenced in camps with the bear necessities food/clean water, shelter, and safety near our border on the american side as refugees and still be able to apply for citizenship or visas but thats it. I say this not because I am heartless in fact quite the opposite if we could I would encourage we do more but dispite us being a wealthy nation most of that wealth is used for public policies and programs such as education, homeland security, social security, the wars against terrorists in the middle east and elsewhere, our NATO allies, stopping the growing aggression of China and Russia the list goes on and on; by the end of it we have little money and resorces to spare other than the charity of each individual citizen. so paint me as a bad evil person if you must but I'm only thinking logically you need to help yourself before you can help others a poor man can not help another poor man out of poverty only a wealthy man who handles his needs first and uses what extra money is left to help those in need. but in light of recent news I absolutely do not support taking children away from their parents as a deterrent it is cruel and will not solve the problem
