Last I checked china is not beholden to other nations sanctions. You can't really tell other nations what to do unless your willing to go to war over it.

@royw922 I'm pretty sure that Province split away from china long ago; if china wanted it back they should have taken it soon after it broke away, not Linger on it allowing Taiwan the chance to gain legitimacy on the world stage.

@raymaster sanctions on china won't work, the rest of the world stands to loose a lot more in a trade war with them due to their massive deposits of ore and coal, and all the work that's outsourced to them will require time and resources to replace, doing this suddenly will make the current recession even worse, when trump tried to start a trade war with them companies had to lay people off and some shut down entirely. many people forget how much the rest of the world imports from them and how much labor is outsourced to them, sanctioning them would be like wounding someone at the cost of wounding yourself just as badly.
