  1. They've bassically resorted to begging the US to stop becoming so powerful. The US and all nations can choose to join any defensive pacts they want, many wouldn't choose to if russia and china weren't so hostile and dictatorial.

  2.  @TheNegaduck  how does that effect other countries, no one in these defence pacts are attacking russia or china. Does simply saying "I'm gonna team up with the US" cause food shortages, destroy infrastructure, or make their citizens fall ill"?

  3.  @gearsocfenix  how, what is NATO doing to antagonize russia and china? Ukrain wants to join NATO because Russia already attacked them and took Crimea, china annexed Hong kong and steals islands from Taiwan to build military bases. The US and ukrain just want to enter into a consensual defense pact.
