@Theokin24 then you don't have what it takes to lead anything during times of hardship. Instead of 1 fatherless son, 1 widowed wife, 1 grieving family, you now have 5; and all of them will blame you for letting their loved ones die because you were there and you could have done something. But instead you chose not to act, im not saying that makes you a bad person; I'm saying that makes you a bad leader.

"Was Burke the good of the people or the company, was this good ethics or good marketing." Yes...

Yes every time, this is that test where you have to decide if one person tied to the track dies or five people tied to the track dies because you are in control of the switch that changes tracks; 5 employees with family's who rely on their income from my company ethically speaking are more important than 1 consumer with a family who relies on them; but make no mistake I would put a camera in every store that contained my product to watch my product all on my company's dime to catch this Criminal(s)

I would pick answer 2 and if any burgers were again contaminated outside of the city even once I would pull my product not worldwide but Statewide and any nearby counties from other states if the city is near the border, if yet again if there is one more poisoning even further away I will pull the product Countrywide but not worldwide and so on and so forth; the entire time I would have tiny hidden cameras installed over wherever my product is sold with a clear view of my product and anyone who might tamper with it I would even pay for it out of my own company's pocket and get the FBI involved to look over the film to find the culprit(s). By pulling my product worldwide or allowing this criminal to damage my brand and make less money I allow myself to fly in the face of utilitarianism, because less money will be going to Charities and employees who they themselves might have families who rely on the money provided by their job at my company; as heartless as it might sound the lively hoods of 5 or 10 employees with family's to take care of are worth more than 1 consumer dead because a criminal decided to poison my product.
