I will never understand why the US left so much hardware and weapons for the Taliban to take.

I wouldn't quite say religion is the downfall of science in history but rather Stubborn ignorance, Tradition, And intolerance.
7
I wouldn't call it a humiliating defeat for the US, And we could have stayed longer too, We chose to leave not because they were winning but because we decided we had done enough to satiate our revenge for 9/11
5
I understand teargassing and flashbanging a holy site isn't the best looking thing but hamas's response of shooting rockets is like if someone knocked over your bike and then you shot them because they knocked over your bike

For once I think your wrong; I don't think it's russias geography that doesn't allow for them to be a democracy, I think it's their culture and education. (Education being that they praise people like Stalin)
3
@golagiswatchingyou2966 That's still not a good excuse, the US government was what kept the afganistan government afloat; So it makes sense that the Afghanistan government collapsing wouldn't make hardly any difference in our ability to defend our military installations long enough to get everything and everyone evacuated. Literally the only reason the Afghanistan government collapsed was because the United States said we're going to leave, The United States military is what kept the taliban from being as successful as they are now
3
@diegokaqui60 we didn't accomplish nothing, we killed many terrorists (a lot more than they killed us) and killed most of the men responsible for us going to war there in the first place; that's really all you need to accomplish in war (it was also out main objective) , it's not like we planned on annexing them. And abandoning hardware isn't failing to win a war it's just a dumb decision and a waste of tax payer money.

Russia seems hell bent on destroying itself.

Sounds like the gaza strip is overpopulated

@comradestalin9444 Georgy Zhukov or many of the people Stalin purged could have lead russia and won the war, in fact Georgy Zhukov was such a successful leader in the army and so adored by the Russian people that he was the only person Stalin couldn't kill even though he wanted to as he feared doing so would cause the whole country including it's military to turn on him.
1
@comradestalin9444 I never said Zhukov was purged I said him or any number of the people who Stalin did purge could have done his job. And I still think to this day there is nothing wrong with taking war trophies even in modern wars, it's a petty minor thing that doesn't negatively effect anything so long as it's done after a fight; my family has a German sniper riffle from WW2 that my great great grandfather got after his squad took out an entrenched snipers nest. Zhukov could have done Stalin's job better than him because he actually cared about his people and often hated when Stalin forced his men into the meat grinder like in the battle of Stalingrad. Stalin was a power hungry monster who killed every competent person who threatened to replace him when he could, that's why you "had no one else competent enough to see you through the war" Stalin killed all the competition or sent them to gulags much like Vladimir Putin has done today, all of Vlad's competition has either been assassinated or imprisoned; history repeats itself and so long as people like Stalin and Vlad keep finding their way into power mother Russia will never find glory, only sadness and rage at despotic governments who brutalize their own people to keep them in line and send their sons to fight pointless wars when they could have just helped the "Russian loyalists" in Ukraine to immigrate to Russia for a better life.
1
@comradestalin9444 yes stalling did kill everyone competent as that's why when stalin abdicated his role in leadership and went to live in a cabin for a bit the entire government didn't know what to do and begged him to come back in exchange for absolute authority. Also the irony in "Stalin helping to stop fascism" is that stalin himself was fascist, he ruled russia not too differently than the Germans. "Putin is nothing like Stalin" putin has literally killed and imprisoned political opposition as well as people who speak poorly of him, any protests about him are swiftly cracked down on; this is exactly what Stalin did.
1
@comradestalin9444 Here is the dictionary definition of Fascism: Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement characterized by a dictatorial l leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation and race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy. Everything excluding that race part at the end fits Stalin and how he ran Russia perfectly.

Egypt needs to Institute two child policy to curb overpopulation, they also need to invest in aquifers and expand their agriculture in to the desolate desert using those aquifers; they would have to do basically what the people who created Petra did. They can accomplish this through a 2-year mandatory military service and making everyone engineers and construction drones, they should also invest in desalination plants on the coast to help fill these aquifers and irrigate the new Farms.
1
@YoussefMohamed-nu3zi will those cities solve their agricultural problem?

The West will never stop sending weapons to Ukraine even if Russia launches nukes, in fact the launch of nukes would spell Russia's end as all nations in the EU and NATO would join the war claiming the nuclear wind heading into their territories would be an act of war
1
I thought Los Angeles was the City of Dreams
1
They don't need the support of the Ukrainian people or their own, they have the gulags and cruel treatment to keep them in check just like Stalin.
1
Only people recognizing these annexations legitimate are the Russians not even the people in the occupied regions recognize the most legitimate if Russia doesn't even have a firm grip on the regions militarily what will annexation do
1
I bet you the war games leak was intentional
1
@botbeamer no, much of the hardware was simply left and much of it was sabotaged such as cutting holed in the bodies of vehicles to make them useless to the Taliban, there is video and photos of this

Britain could just tell the banks they're not going to pay the new interest rates and will remain at the one percent Mark, I mean what are the banks going to do mobilize they're non-existent private militaries to fight Britain over it.

Step 6: profit... No wait that's a net loss.

I don't understand why Egypt Egypt seeking peace and solidarity with the West weakened weekend relationships relationships with neighboring Arab states
1
With so many pacifists worried about Germany's past atrocities, they don't have to worry about the current military becoming as awful As the nazis; it's important they have a military and their culture will prevent them from going down that path again. If they don't build their military up and to lose A-war lose A-war they won't be be as bad as a nazis though instead be as bad as the victims of the nazis.

Perhaps we should instead invest in technology that can efficiently suck out greenhouse gases from the air, we could use our dwindling supply of helium to create blimps that carry greenhouse-gas scrubbers high above the skyscrapers of New York

6:10 does anyone else see the rabbit man mountain range left of Ukraine?

Briton should have just stopped trade with China when they said we'll only accept silver and persuaded other nations to do so, with trade halted china might have overturned it's stance and the opium wars might never have been.

Sounds like you need a Tesla
1
I don't understand why people in Switzerland and Finland don't wanna join nato,, It's basically a defensive pact to ensure security And the only commitments are 2% of your budget goes to your military (which they already meet) And when someone attacks a member of this defensive pack you join in to help them.

There are many smaller nations that would prosper mor under the rule of a larger nation, Hatti is a good example.

If an American making $100,000 or more a year is living paycheck-to-paycheck than they have bad spending habits and expensive loans. I make $15 an hour and a room mate, and I don't even live paycheck-to-paycheck.

If every NATO member in western Europe invested 2% in their military like their supposed to there wouldn't be so much of a problem. If they fail to defend themselves and the US bails them out I would support war reparation demanded from europe to the USA. We don't defend you for free.

Egypt could be easily overthrown if it's poverty-stricken people were convinced to fight for their enemies and said enemy invaded from the coastline after decimating Egypt's navey

@alexander1055 hamas launched the first salvo of rockets then Israel launched theirs into residential and then Hamas launched more rockets and it's been escalating ever since. Hamas struck first
1
@alexander1055 Not saying Israel are saints I'm saying hamas made the situation worse and hamas are no saints either, they just poured fuel on the fire and gave Israel a perfect excuse to completely take over the strip, evict all the Arabs, and kill without regard for civilians who get caught in the cross fire; hamas will lose because their military power is dwarfed by Israel and this will lead to further discrimination. Both sides are responsible for any civilians who die in this fight regardless of past transgressions.

Many economic groups also don't want to do business with china due to rampant corruption and IP theft, they might have plenty of money but the problems that come with that money make it not worth taking.
1
Russia: the West is nuclear blackmailing us. Also Russia: were blackmailing the West with nuclear war if they stay involved.
1
I say sanction India anyway, it might push them out of US sphere of influence, but it will only be temporary; they'll side with Russia and once Russia gets what it wants from Ukraine, Russia will stab them in the back slow and subtle like letting china get it's way with India, abstaining in the UN much like India is now and thus India will be forced to jump right back to the US.
1
If Hamas thinks firing rockets is going to win them an election they are sorely mistaken, even if they do win the election the other group could just not accept the out come of the election and retain control with their military
1
@legrandliseurtri7495 guess those tens of thousands of civilians should have kept their violent religious extremists in check so the US wouldn't have had to retaliate. (also many of those civilian deaths are due to those extremists groups taking hostages and deliberately operating in civilian centers because they knew the US would have to restrict itself) I guarantee you if some American extremist group was out of control and attacked Afghanistan they would have done the same to the US. also this is like saying because Russia invaded Ukraine any civilian deaths on Russia's side is entirely Ukraine's fault, if you don't want civilian deaths don't attack others in the first place.
1
@legrandliseurtri7495 1. if they can't keep them in check and it spills over into other nations yes I do, their weakness or unwillingness to stop them is their sin if the US started attacking people unjustified and I as a citizen wasn't able to stop them then I say send your armies to invade the US; as much as it's going to suck for me do what you must to protect yourselves. 2. no shit a war just ended 3. retaliating against an aggressor isn't an awful act, it's the nature of fighting in general since the dawn of life... unless your a pacifist. 4. 3rd world countries have retaliated like this before, have you not studied wars in Africa, they just can't do it on as large of a scale because well their third world countries. 5. America has always said if you attack us we will retaliate 10 fold and we mean it, this is both a warning to the attackers and the civilians who live with the attackers who can stop them; so if you feel so strongly about the Us being such an evil nation then fine, come punish us, we'll be waiting with a gun in every civilians hands and do to you what we did to Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
