For once I think your wrong; I don't think it's russias geography that doesn't allow for them to be a democracy, I think it's their culture and education. (Education being that they praise people like Stalin)

@comradestalin9444 Georgy Zhukov or many of the people Stalin purged could have lead russia and won the war, in fact Georgy Zhukov was such a successful leader in the army and so adored by the Russian people that he was the only person Stalin couldn't kill even though he wanted to as he feared doing so would cause the whole country including it's military to turn on him.

@comradestalin9444 I never said Zhukov was purged I said him or any number of the people who Stalin did purge could have done his job. And I still think to this day there is nothing wrong with taking war trophies even in modern wars, it's a petty minor thing that doesn't negatively effect anything so long as it's done after a fight; my family has a German sniper riffle from WW2 that my great great grandfather got after his squad took out an entrenched snipers nest. Zhukov could have done Stalin's job better than him because he actually cared about his people and often hated when Stalin forced his men into the meat grinder like in the battle of Stalingrad. Stalin was a power hungry monster who killed every competent person who threatened to replace him when he could, that's why you "had no one else competent enough to see you through the war" Stalin killed all the competition or sent them to gulags much like Vladimir Putin has done today, all of Vlad's competition has either been assassinated or imprisoned; history repeats itself and so long as people like Stalin and Vlad keep finding their way into power mother Russia will never find glory, only sadness and rage at despotic governments who brutalize their own people to keep them in line and send their sons to fight pointless wars when they could have just helped the "Russian loyalists" in Ukraine to immigrate to Russia for a better life.

@comradestalin9444 yes stalling did kill everyone competent as that's why when stalin abdicated his role in leadership and went to live in a cabin for a bit the entire government didn't know what to do and begged him to come back in exchange for absolute authority. Also the irony in "Stalin helping to stop fascism" is that stalin himself was fascist, he ruled russia not too differently than the Germans. "Putin is nothing like Stalin" putin has literally killed and imprisoned political opposition as well as people who speak poorly of him, any protests about him are swiftly cracked down on; this is exactly what Stalin did.

@comradestalin9444 Here is the dictionary definition of Fascism: Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement characterized by a dictatorial l leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation and race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy. Everything excluding that race part at the end fits Stalin and how he ran Russia perfectly.
