They have pretty toxic elements in their society and politics already so they prob don't need to import anymore.

@thedamntrain Also, what you claim above is not accurate. Japanese political leaders have issued general apologies for their army's actions during the war. I am not whitewashing what Japan did. I am stating what is true.

@thedamntrain Japan has a fairly good reputation worldwide, but def. NOT in the close neighborhood. I suggest you look into it. A large proportion of Chinese, Koreans (North and South), as well as some South East Asians really dislike - if not hate - Japan. If you know about the shrine you mention you should be aware of this. It has been the same with Russia up until recently. Those who had to put up with them - in Eastern Europe predominantly - hated their guts. Western Europeans were more positive towards Russia and Russians. What will happen? We don't know. It depends on how things develop from here. Their pariah status is well earned though, if you ask me.
