@mengreat6982 NATO is a cheap excuse. It is about controlling the gas market to Europe and not losing their standing within their so called sphere of influence (Ukraine).

@samsliu The main difference here is that Japan and Germany were aggressors whether Ukraine is fighting for her existence against a neo-imperial pariah. Ukraine does not deserve this treatment by any means and the international community backs her up.

@samsliu Ukraine did not threaten Russia. All the contrary, Russian invaded Ukraine not just once or twice, but thrice. It has fueled the conflict in the Donbas. It has tried to keep Ukraine as an appendage and under her influence by any means. We are all tired of pariah Russia's neo-colonial aggressive ways and land-grabs. Enough is enough.

@samsliu So you understand a little better and to bring it to your home turf - do you remember what Western powers did to your country during the century of humiliation? Russia has done something similar to Ukraine since the 90s, but more covertly, and turbocharged it since 2014. I understand that it is more useful for you guys to have a weaker Russia but don't amplify their bs, please.
