  1. Preservation of kin makes sense in Darwinian terms if you look at it from the point of view of genes and not individuals.

  2. Also your example of using logic is using bad logic. If you exclude everything from the equation you will come out with bad results. Doesn`t mean that 'Logic' is wrong. Means you used it wrong.

  3. Saving your parents at the cost of your life saves your genes. Your genes are saved in the parents that you saved. Same as saving your brothers. You kinda completely simplify and misunderstand Darwinism.
